Analysis and assesment of public administration web pages

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor’s thesis is the analysis and evaluation of government web portals, namely Levice and Čajkov. The whole bachalor’s thesis is divided into two basic sections: theoretical and practical. In my theoretical section I tried to explain the basic terms accomplished with the given thesis, for example eDemocracy, eGovernment. Practical section contains the analysis from the visitor’s point of view with a special attention on the difficulty of usability of the portals and their evaluation. At the end there are some proposals of improvements in a selected web page.

Abstract:

Témou tejto bakalárskej práce je analýza a hodnotenie portálov webových stránok verejnej správy,konkrétne mesta Levice a obce Čajkov. Celá bakalárska práca je rozdelená na dva základné okruhy: teoretický a praktický. V teoretickej časti sa venujem vysvetleniu základných pojmov súvisiacich s danou témou, napríklad eDemokracia, eGovernment. Praktická časť obsahuje analýzu z pohľadu návštevníka, zameranú na obtiažnosť použiteľnosť portálov a ich následné hodnotenie. V závere práce sa nachádzajú návrhy na vylepšenie jednej z webových stránok.
