Posouzení rozdílů v grafomotorice u dětí s vadami řeči ze speciálních logopedických tříd a běžných tříd mateřských škol

Comparison of the graphomotor-skills differences of kindergartners attending classes focused on speech disorders, and kindergartners attending regular classes.

Abstract:

Zahraniční studie potvrzují souvislost mezi řečí, grafomotorikou, jemnou motorikou a pracovní pamětí. Jedním z nedostatků těchto výzkumů je to, že prozatím byly srovnávány děti s poruchou řeči pouze s dětmi s normálním vývojem. Nikdy však nebyly srovnávány dvě skupiny dětí s poruchou artikulace s různou mírou logopedické terapie. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zda existují odlišnosti v grafomotorickém projevu u předškolních dětí s poruchou artikulace, které podstupují logopedickou terapii v různé míře. Dílčím cílem bylo prozkoumání možných vztahů mezi grafomotorikou, vizuomotorikou, a kapacitou pracovní paměti u dětí s dyslalií. Hlavní výzkumnou metodou byla digitalizovaná analýza grafomotoriky s použitím digitizéru. Dalšími využitými metodami byl Test obkreslování a modifikovaný test pracovní paměti n-back. První hypotéza předpokládala lepší grafomotorický výkon u skupiny dětí navštěvujících logopedické třídy. Následující hypotézy očekávaly vyšší skór v Testu obkreslování u téže skupiny, a nalezení pozitivního vztahu tohoto skóru s grafomotorickým výkonem. Poslední dvě hypotézy stanovily předpoklad, že skupina dětí navštěvujících běžné třídy budou dosahovat horšího výkonu v testu n-back, který bude zároveň pozitivně korelovat s výkonem ve vybraných kognitivních úkolech. Byl zaznamenán jediný statisticky významný rozdíl v tlaku vyvíjeném na podložku v případě malé Archimedovy spirály (t(60) = 2, p < 0,05, d = 0,05). Další statisticky významné rozdíly mezi skupinami nebyly nalezeny, tudíž se nepodařilo potvrdit hypotézy o odlišnostech mezi skupinami. Byly nalezeny pozitivní vztahy mezi skórem v Testu obkreslování a dobou potřebnou k vytvoření psaného produktu, a to u velké (rs = 0,33, p < 0,01) i malé Archimedovy spirály (0,27, p < 0,05), a také u kombinace horní a dolní smyčky (rs = 0,31, p < 0,05). Tento skór koreloval také s variabilitou azimutu na povrchu (rs = -0,32, p < 0,5) i s jeho celkovou variabilitou zahrnující azimut ve vzduchu (rs = -0,39, p < 0,01) u dolní smyčky. U kombinace horní a dolní smyčky se ukázal vztah s variabilitou azimutu na povrchu (rs = -0,29, p < 0,05). U téže úlohy skór v Testu obkreslování souvisel i s průměrným švihem na povrchu (rs = -0,31, p < 0,05). Nepodařilo se však nalézt dostatečné množství důkazů k potvrzení této hypotézy. Nebylo možné ověřit hypotézy související s testem n-back, jelikož množství chybějících hodnot jeho výsledků neumožnilo provést potřebné analýzy. Na základě výsledků nelze předpokládat, že míra logopedické terapie má vliv na grafomotorické schopnosti či další posuzované fenomény.

Abstract:

Foreign studies confirm the connection between speech, graphomotor skills, fine motor skills and working memory. One of the deficiencies among these studies is that children with speech disorders have always been compared only to normally developing children. However, there have never been compared two groups of children with articulation disorders, each with different level of speech therapy. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether there are some differences in graphomotor ability of preschool children with articulation disorders who undergo speech therapy in varying degrees. The partial goal is to investigate possible relationships between graphomotor skills, visual motor skills, and working memory capacity of children with dyslalia. The main research method was a digitized analysis of graphomotor skills using a digitizing tablet. Other methods used were a redrawing test and a modified n-back working memory test. The first hypothesis assumed better graphomotor performance in a group of children attending speech therapy classes than in a group of children attending mainstream kindergarten classes. The following hypotheses expected a higher score in the redrawing test for the same group, and finding a positive relationship of this score with graphomotor performance. The last two hypotheses established the assumption that the n-back test performance of children attending regular classes will be worse than of those attending speech therapy classes. There was a positive correlation between this performance and their performance in selected cognitive tasks expected. In conclusion, the only statistically significant difference observed was the difference in the pressure exerted on the surface of the tablet in the small Archimedean spiral task (t(60) = 2, p < 0.05, d = 0.05). No more statistically significant differences between groups were found, so the hypotheses about the differences between these two groups could not be confirmed. There were some positive correlations found between the score on the redrawing test and duration of writing, both for large (rs = 0.33, p <0.01) and small Archimedean spirals (rs = 0.27, p < 0.05), and also for the combination of upper and lower loops (rs = 0.31, p < 0.05). This score also correlated in surface azimuth variability (rs = -0.32, p < 0.5) and in its overall variability including azimuth in air (rs = -0.39, p < 0.01) in the lower loop. The combination of upper and lower loop showed a relationship with surface azimuth variability (rs = -0.29, p < 0.05). For the same task, the score in the redrawing test was also related to the average swing on the surface (rs = -0.31, p < 0.05). However, there was insufficient evidence found to support this hypothesis. It was not possible to verify the hypotheses related to the n-back test either, as the number of missing values of its results did not allow the analyses to be performed. Based on the results, it cannot be assumed that the frequency of speech therapy affects graphomotor abilities or other assessed phenomena.
