Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá překladem vybraných pasáží z díla The Bluest Eye autorky Toni Morrison a následnou analýzou tohoto překladu. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část uvádí základní údaje o autorce a vybraném díle. Druhou, praktickou, část tvoří vlastní překlad. Třetí, teoretická, část se zaměřuje na analýzu překladu zejména v rovině lexikální.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with a translation of selected parts of The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison and subsequent analysis of the translation. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part the author and her work is introduced. The second, practical, part consists of the translation. The third, theoretical, part deals with the analysis of the translation especially on the lexical level.
