Recent trends in air transport

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na aktuální trendy v letecké dopravě. Cílem je na základě analýzy současných trendů v letecké dopravě provést jejich rozbor, deskripci a uvést výhody a nevýhody těchto trendů, za účelem zhodnocení inovací, které pohybují vývojem letecké dopravy. Největší část práce je věnována analýze trendu velkokapacitních letadel typu A380 a díky této analýze bylo zjištěno, že letecká doprava se ubírá směrem menších a efektivnějších letadel. Avšak je zde věnována pozornost také rostoucí poptávce po letecké dopravě, využití IT, trendu nízkonákladových společností, vývoji leteckých společností a aktuální nabídce služeb v tomto oboru.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on current trends in air transport. The aim of this work is on basis of analysis of recent trends in air transport make their parsing, description and state the advantages and disadvantages of these trends, for evaluate the innovations that are in development of air transport.The largest part of the work is devoted to the analysis of the trend of high-capacity aircraft type A380 and thanks to this analysis it was found that air transport is moving towards smaller and more efficient aircraft. However, attention is also drawn to the increasing demand for air transport, IT usage, the trend of low-cost airlines, the development of airlines and the current range of services in this field.
