Employing workers 50+ from the perspective of HR managers

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na oblast zaměstnávání věkové skupiny 50 – 65 let. Jejím cílem je najít nové informace, které napomohou řešení nezaměstnanosti této skupiny. Dále je cílem zjistit od personalistů informace pro zefektivnění opatření ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí v programu „Národní strategie podporující pozitivní stárnutí pro období let 2013 až 2017“, které se týkají změny legislativy, změny postojů a zvýšení informovanosti společnosti a zaměstnavatelů, které by měly vést k větší míře zaměstnávání pracovníků zmíněné věkové skupiny. Práce je pojata jako kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkum byl proveden na cílové skupině personálních manažerů středních a velkých organizací v Brně. V závěru jsou popsány podmínky atraktivity pracovníků ve věku 50 – 65 let pro personalisty a další informace, které mohou těmto pracovníkům usnadnit získání zaměstnání a tím v konečném důsledku i přispět ke snížení nezaměstnanosti této skupiny. Stejně tak závěr popisuje doporučení vůči opatřením „Národní strategie podporující pozitivní stárnutí pro období let 2013 až 2017“.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the employment area of age group 50 – 65 years. Its aim is to find new information that would help to solve the problem of unemployment of this group. Furthermore, the aim is to find out information from the HR managers to make the measures of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the “National strategy to support positive aging for the period 2013 to 2017” more effective, which relates to changes in the legislation, change of attitudes and raise of awareness among companies and employers, which should lead to greater employment of the workers in mentioned age group. The thesis is conceived as a qualitative research. The research was conducted on the target group HR managers of medium and large organizations in Brno. The conclusion refers to conditions of attractiveness of workers aged 50 – 65 years for HR managers and further information that might facilitate these people to get a job and in consequence contributes to reduction of unemployment of this group. Likewise, the conclusion describes recommendations for measures of “National strategy to support positive aging for the period 2013 to 2017“.
