Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá daňovou gramotností generace Z v České republice a na Slovensku. Cílem práce je proto identifikovat a zjistit úroveň daňo-vé gramotnosti středoškoláků v obou zemích. K naplnění cíle byli znalosti studentů v daňové sféře získány prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, kde studenti ze 13 středních škol v rámci České republiky a Slovenska byly prověřeni nejen z daňových znalostí, ale také z jejich daňových postojů a dodržování předpisů. Každá otázka znalostního testu byla individuálně prozkoumána a vyhodnocena. Test shody středních hodnot dvou výběru velkého rozsahu sloužil k ověření čtyř hypotéz. Bylo potvrzené, že pohlaví, předchozí pracovní zkušenosti, kvalitní zdroj daňových informací i typ střední školy ovlivňuje úroveň daňové gramotnosti. Úroveň daňové gramotnosti generace Z byla stanovena na základě klasifikační stupnice. Celkový průměr bodů ze všech zkoumaných středních škol byl roven 14, z čehož celková daňová gramotnost generace Z byla klasifikována jako dobrá. Následně byla navržena doporučení pro zvýšení daňové gramotnosti, a to: zavedení povinného daňového předmětu pro střední školy, založení daňového podcastu a vývoj daňové mobilní aplikace.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the tax literacy of generation Z within the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Therefore, the objective of the thesis is to identi-fy and determine the level of tax literacy among high school students in both countries. In order for the goal to be accomplished, the knowledge of students in the tax sphere was obtained through a questionnaire survey, where students from 13 high schools in Slovakia and the Czech Republic were tested not only on their tax knowledge but also about their tax attitudes and compliance. Moreover, every question was individually examined and evaluated. Test of the agreement of two mean values of the large-scale selections was used to verify four hypotheses. It has confirmed, that gender, previous part-time work experience, quality source of tax infor-mation and the type of high school affects the level of tax literacy. The level of tax literacy of generation Z was determined on the basis of classification scale. The overall average of points from all high schools examined was equal 14, from which the overall tax literacy of generation Z was classified as good. Subsequently, recom-mendations were proposed with aim to increase the tax literacy, namely: the introduction of a compulsory tax subject for high schools, establishment of a tax podcast and development of tax mobile application.
