Práce se zabývá profesní dráhou pařížského korespondenta Henri Stefana Oppera de Blowitze (1825 – 1903) a jeho působením v londýnských Timesech. Na vrchol slávy ho vynesly jeho články spjaté s dobovým politickým děním v Evropě, a proto si práce klade za cíl zachytit i související historický kontext, ostatní významné korespondenty a situaci v Timesech. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the career of the Paris correspondent Henri Stefan Opper de Blowitz (1825 – 1903), including his work for The Times of London. He reached the height of his career especially thanks to his articles which were related to the contemporary political events in Europe.
