Population Protection Czech Republic against Terrorist Attacks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá terorismem a ochranou měkkých cílů před teroristickými útoky. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je popsán terorismus, jeho dělení, teroristický útok a teroristické skupiny. Dále charakteristika měkkých cílů a jejich možnosti zabezpečení. V závěru teoretické části jsou popsány právní normy, dokumenty a organizace bojující proti terorismu a zajišťující ochranu před terorismem. V praktické části jsou analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které bylo zaměřeno na bezpečnost a vnímání terorismu v České republice, dále pak na informovanost obyvatelstva ČR v případě teroristického útoku na měkký cíl.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with terrorism and the protection of soft targets against terrorist attack. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes terrorism, its division, terrorist attack and terrorist groups. Then the characteristics of soft targets and their security options. The theoretical part concludes with a description of legal norms, documents and organizations fighting terrorism and providing protection against terrorism. The practical part analyses the results of the questionnaire survey, which focused on security and perception of terrorism in the Czech Republic, as well as the awareness of the Czech population in the event of a terrorist attack on a soft target.
