Flexi-coil spring testing methodology

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá volbou metodiky pro zkoušení flexi-coil pružin. V úvodní kapitole je řešen popis využití a způsobu řazení flexi-coil pružin jako prvku vypružení u moderních kolejových vozidel. Dílčí kapitola je věnována přehledu možností stanovení příčné tuhosti flexi-coil pružiny podle empirických vzorců a MKP, dále je věnována porovnání vypočítaných tuhostí. Hlavní část diplomové práce se zabývá realizací experimentu a vyhodnocování naměřených dat.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with selection of flexi-coil spring testing methodology. In the initial chapter a description of the use and of the arrangement of the flexi-coil spring as a suspension element at modern railway rolling stock is discussed. The subchapter focuses on the overview of possibilities of lateral stiffness determination of the flexi-coil spring in accordance with the empirical patterns and with FEM. The comparison of the results of calculated stiffnesses of the empirical patterns and of FEM is made. In the major part of the thesis the realization of the experiment and analysis of the recorded data is carried out.
