The history of tennis on region Břeclav

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se budeme zabývat historií tenisu na Břeclavsku, a to jak v samotné Břeclavi, tak v jejím širokém okolí. Budeme se zabývat výstavbou samostatných kurtů a to i jaké zázemí poskytují. Část bude věnovaná závodnímu hraní a i rekreačnímu hraní, ale i významným tenistům obou těchto kategorií. Pojednávat se bude i o významných turnajích zmiňovaných kategorií. V poslední části budeme vyhodnocovat dotazníky, které budou předány k vyplnění nejvýznamnějším osobnostem tenisu na Břeclavsku.

Abstract:

The thesis will discuss the history of tennis in the district of Breclav, not only in the town of Breclav itself , but also in its wide surroundings. We will consider the construction of separate courts and moreover the facilities they provide. One part will be devoted to both hobby and professional level of tennis, but also to important tennis players of both categories. Furthermore, we will also discuss major tournaments of both categories mentioned . In the last section we will evaluate questionnaires which will be handed over to the most important tennis celebrities in Břeclav.
