How does a teen athlete perceive her coach?

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkou „Jak sportovkyně ve věku 14-17 let vnímá svého trenéra?“ V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a definice související s problematikou vztahu mezi trenérem a sportovcem. Nejprve je zde stručně definována problematika sportu, poté se blíže zaměřuji na charakteristiku věkových zákonitostí zkoumaného vzorku a výchovu sportovce. Dalším důležitým bodem je kapitola trenérství, která je zaměřena především na trenérskou profesi, osobnost trenéra, role trenéra a jeho vztah se sportovcem. Empirická část práce se věnuje kvalitativnímu výzkumnému šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit, jak mladé sportující dívky vnímají jejich vztah s trenérem, jaké role svému trenérovi přisuzují a jak vnímají jeho osobnost.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the question „How does an athlete aged 14-17 perceive her coach?” The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on basic terms and definitions related to the issue of the relationship between a coach and an athlete. First, there is sport in general defined here, then I focus closer on the characteristics of the age regularities of a research sample and an education of an athlete. Another important item is the part of coaching that is focused primarily on the coaching profession, the personality of a coach, a coach role and his relationship with an athlete. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the qualitative research survey. Its aim is to find out how young girls perceive their sporting relationship with the coach, what roles attribute to the coach and his personality.
