Positional accuracy of orthophoto from near aerial photogrammetry (no GCPs).

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním polohové přesnosti ortofota, získaného pomocí různých přístupů sběru a zpracování dat (bez korekcí polohy, s korekcemi polohy, s pomocí vlícovacích bodů při tvorbě modelu a bez vlícovacích bodů při tvorbě modelu). Pro snímkování byl použit UAV senseFly eBee X a pro přesné zaměření vlícovacích bodů byla použita GNSS stanice Trimble R10. Výsledná ortofota byla vytvořena pomocí metody Structure from Motion v softwaru Agisoft Metashape Pro verze 1.8.4. Práce obsahuje rešeršní část, kde jsou popsány metody a výsledky přesností ortofot jiných skupin. V teoretické části je popsána metoda Structure from Motion spolu s principy fotogrammetrie. Praktická část se zabývá jednotlivými kroky získání a zpracování dat od snímkování až po výsledná ortofota. Ve výsledcích jsou následně jednotlivé metody graficky i slovně porovnány. Nejlepšího výsledku dosahuje ortofoto s využitím jak polohových korekcí snímků, tak i vlícovacích bodů. Průměrná horizontální odchylka činí 0,028 m). Vysoká přesnost ortofota je také bez využití polohových korekcí snímků, ale to opět v případě, že jsou v modelu k dispozici přesně zaměřené vlícovací body (průměrná horizontální odchylka činí 0,03 m a není signifikantně větší než u předchozí metody tvorby ortofota). Polohová přesnost ortofota je dále signifikantně menší, pokud v modelu nejsou využity vlícovací body, a to i s využitím korekcí polohy snímků (průměrná horizontální odchylka činí 0,475 m). Nejmenší polohové přesnosti dosahuje ortofoto, u kterého nejsou využity ani korekce polohy snímků, ani vlícovací body modelu (průměrná horizontální odchylka činí 2,179 m).

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of orthophoto creation methods using ground control points, without ground control points, with corrections and also without corrections. A UAV senseFly eBee X was used for imaging and a GNSS station Trimble R10 was used for more accurate alignment of the fitting points. The resulting orthophoto was created using the Structure from Motion method with software Agisoft Metashape Pro version 1.8.4. The work contains a research part, where the methods and results of other groups are described. The theoretical part describes the Structure from Motion method together with photogrammetry. The practical part deals with the individual steps of creation from shooting to the resulting orthophoto. In the results, the individual methods are then compared graphically and verbally. The best result is achieved by orthophoto with the use of both positional corrections of images and insertion points. The average horizontal deviation is 0.028 m). The high accuracy of the orthophoto is also possible without the use of image positional corrections, but again in the event that there are precisely focused ground control points in the model (the average horizontal deviation is 0.03 m and is not significantly greater than with the previous method of creating the orthophoto). Furthermore, the positional accuracy of the orthophoto is significantly lower, if the fitting points are not used in the model, even with the use of image position corrections (the average horizontal deviation is 0.475 m). The smallest positional accuracy is achieved by orthophoto, where neither image position corrections nor model fitting points are used (average horizontal deviation is 2.179 m).
