Diplomová práce popisuje sbírkotvornou činnost Městského muzea a galerie Břeclav za období 2011 – 2015. Kromě sbírkotvorné činnosti instituce samotné vysvětluje co vlastně sbírkotvorná činnost je. Dále se zabývá problematikou sbírkotvorné činnosti z pohledu muzeologie. Vysvětleny jsou odborné pojmy jako muzealita, muzealizace, naturfakt, artefakt, mentefakt. The thesis describes collecting activities of the Municipal Museum and Gallery Břeclav (MMG) for the period from 2011 to 2015. In addition to the actual collecting activities of the institution, it outlines what these activities are.
