Regional parties and party territorial pervasiveness in Spain

Abstract:

Tato práce se soustřeďuje na zkoumání územního rozprostření volební podpory vybraných španělských regionálních stranicko-politických formací (v Katalánsku, Baskicku, La Rioja, Andalusii) a na specifikaci faktorů toto rozprostření ovlivňujících či přímo určujících. V této souvislosti práce nabízí pohled na problematiku „necelostátních“ stran ve víceúrovňových uspořádáních, respektující multidimenzionální povahu této problematiky a aktuální trendy ve vývoji výzkumu volební performance stran ve víceúrovňových uspořádáních.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the research of territorial pervasiveness of the electoral support of selected Spanish regional political parties (in Catalonia, The Basque Land, La Rioja and Andalusia). The main aim is to specify the factors, that affect or determine this pervasiveness. In this respect the text provides a sight upon the problematics of these „non nation-wide“ parties in multi-level arrangements, respecting multidimensional character of this issue and actual trends in the developement of researching of the electoral performance of the parties in multi-level arrangements.
