Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá masopustní obchůzkou v obci Strání, která je spojena s mečovým tancem pod šable. Zaměřuje se zejména na postavu gazdy, který během obchůzky doprovází tanečníky tance pod šable. Popisuje vývoj jeho role a pozice v rámci skupiny od začátku 20. století do současnosti. This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the Pre-lent traditions in Strání which are connected with the sword dance pod šable. The thesis focuses especially on the role of gazda who accompanies the pod šable dancers. There is described the development of his role and position within the group since the beginning of 20th century until the present day.
