Testing of motoric abylities with alpine skiing racers

Abstract:

Vzhledem k trendu doby a stále většímu kladení důrazu na kondiční přípravu je potřeba zjistit do jaké míry jsou rozdíly v soutěžním výkonu podmíněny právě fyzickou zdatností závodníků. Cílem práce bylo porovnat úrovně vybraných motorických schopností lyžařů alpských disciplín různých výkonnostních úrovní. Analýza motorických schopností byla provedena standardizovanými testy, které jsou jednotlivě obsaženy v různých světově uznávaných testovacích bateriích a jejich modifikace. Měřeným souborem bylo 26 děti ve věku 9-10 let, účastnících se nejvyšší úrovně závodů v dané kategorii v rámci Moravy a Slezska. Ve výsledku všech sedm motorických testů hovořilo v prospěch lyžařsky zdatnější skupiny.

Abstract:

The trend of the nowday and the increasing emphasis on conditioning, is necessary to determine to what extent the differences in the competitive performance are conditioned by the physical condition of the competitors. Motor performance analysis was performed by standardized tests, which are individually contained in various world-renowned test batteries, and their modifications. The aim of this work was to compare alpine skiers who were divided into two performance categories and compare these categories in individual motor tests. The measured sample was 26 children, 9-10 old, participating in the highest level of races in Moravia and Silesia area. Skilful skier groups was batter of all seven motor tests.
