Bakalářská práce popisuje koncept udržitelného rozvoje v teorii a praxi, přičemž v praxi se zaměřuje na region Sokolovsko a jeho specifika. Cílem práce je stanovit, jak region Sokolovsko v rámci strategie udržitelného rozvoje čelí dopadům těžby hnědého uhlí.
