Práce pojednává o sikativu na bázi vanadu, a popisuje jeho aktivitu v nátěrových filmech v porovnání s komerčním sikativem. V první části je zpracována literární rešerše na téma polyesterových pryskyřic, kde je více pozornosti věnováno alkydovým pryskyřicím v průmyslu nátěrových hmot a roli sikativů v tomto průmyslu. This thesis is focused on vanadium-based drier, and it describes its activity in coatings in comparison to commercial drier. In the first part of the thesis, literature research on the topic of polyester resins is compiled, where more attention is paid to alkyd resins in the paint industry and the role of driers in the same industry.
