Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vztah Firbasovy teorie funkční perspektivy větné k teorii překladu a její význam v překladatelské praxi. Komparací dvou českých překladů několika výňatků z Orwellovy knihy 1984 se tato práce snaží identifikovat potenciální úskalí a nástrahy v procesu překladu informační struktury. The present bachelor's diploma thesis analyses the relationship between Firbas's theory of functional sentence perspective and the theory of translation and the role of the former in translation practice.
