V práci je porovnáváno pojetí tyrana u Aristotela s pojetím vladaře u N. Machiavelliho. První část práce obsahuje náčrt historicko-politického kontextu, ve kterém Aristotelés žil a tvořil. The paper compares the concept of an Aristotle's tyrant with the concept of N. Machiavelli's prince. The first part contains an outline of historical and political context in which Aristotle lived and worked. Then it describes two types of Aristotle's tyranny.
