Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má poukázat na hlavní rozdíly mezi barokní architekturou v Čechách a v Anglii. Popisuje počátky vzniku barokního slohu v Evropě, jeho rozšíření a hlavní charakteristické rysy. Objasňuje rozdílný vývoj baroka v Čechách a v Anglii a soustřeďuje se na architekturu a její charakteristiku v těchto jednotlivých zemích. Rozdíly mezi anglickou a českou architekturou jsou demonstrovány na čtyřech barokních stavbách, Zámku v Buchlovicích a Trojském zámku v Čechách a Castle Howard a Blenheim Palace v Anglii.Tyto rozdíly, ale také podobnosti jsou zdůrazněny na základě podrobnějšího popisu a srovnávání jednotlivých částí budov.

Abstract:

The thesis points out the main differences between Baroque architecture in Bohemia and in England. It describes the beginning of the Baroque style in Europe, its expansion and the main characteristic features. It clarifies a different development of Baroque in Bohemia and in England and focuses on the architecture and its characteristics in these two countries. The differences between English and Bohemian architecture are demonstrated on four Baroque buildings, Buchlovice and Chateau Troja in Bohemia and Castle Howard and Blenheim Palace in England. These differences, but also similarities are pointed out by detailed describing and comparing of particular parts of those buildings.
