Effect of different establishment of maize and soybean canopy at their structure and yield

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá různými možnostmi zakládání porostů silážní kukuřice a sóji. V rámci experimentální části byl v roce 2023 proveden poloprovozní polní pokus na pozemku Rolnické společnosti Lesonice a.s. Jeho účelem bylo ověření teoretických poznatků získaných při studiu literatury. První varianta pokusu využívala technologii přímého setí a druhá varianta minimalizační technologie. Sledován byl vliv na hloubku setí, dynamiku růstu, zakládání výnosotvorných prvků, výnos a kvalitativní parametry. Výsledky prokazují význam přímého setí v periodách sucha. V období nedostatku srážek se projevily výhody této technologie v souvislosti s redukcí neproduktivního výparu a větší dostupností vody pro rostliny. Nebyl zjištěn vliv zpracování půdy na kvalitativní parametry sklizených produktů.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with various possibilities for establishing canopy of silage maize and soybeans. As part of the experimental part, a semi-operational field trial was conducted in 2023 on the field of the Rolnická společnost Lesonice a.s. Its purpose was to verify the theoretical knowledge obtained during the study of literature. The first variant of the experiment used direct sowing and the second variant used minimization technologies. The influence on sowing depth, growth dynamics, establishment of yield components, yield and quality parameters was monitored. The results prove the importance of direct seeding in dry periods. During the period of lack of precipitation, the advantages of this technology were showed up in connection with the reduction of evaporation and the availability of more water for plants. It was found out no effect of tillage on quality parameters of harvested product.
