Trans-Siberian Railway and its importance in transport of Russia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá historií výstavby a geografické poloze Transsibiřské magistrály a zajímavými fakty, které se ji týkají. Poskytuje základní informace o oblastech a významných ekonomických centrech, které Transsibiřská magistrála protíná. Práce zahrnuje podrobnosti o výstavbě a využití Bajkalské okružní železnice. Zařazeny jsou aktuální informace o dopravě a přepravě tranzitního zboží a o přepravě cestujících. Podrobněji jsou představeny způsoby prodeje jízdenek a typy vagónů. Část práce je věnována předpokládanému rozvoji železnice v RF.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of construction and geographical location of Trans-Siberian Railway and interesting facts about it. Provides basic information about areas and major economic centers, which crosses the Trans-Siberian Railway. Work includes details of the construction and use of Circum-Baikal Railway. There are included current traffic information and transit transport of goods and passenger transport. There are also present ticketing and types of wagons. Part of the work is devoted to the expected development of railways in RF.
