Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kulturní reflexí tuberkulózy v období 19. a první poloviny 20. století. Práce se snaží představit problematiku tuberkulózy z různých úhlů pohledu. Nastiňuje historický vývoj vědeckých poznatků o nemoci, věnuje se vědeckému diskurzu, zabývá se odrazem nemoci v české literární tvorbě. Abstract:
This thesis deals with cultural reflection of tuberculosis in the 19th and first half of 20th century. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the main issues of tuberculosis from different angles. It outlines the historical development of scientific knowledge about the disease, dedicated to scientific discourse, dealing with the reflection of the disease in Czech literature.
