This thesis deals with race-based affirmative action in the United States, focusing on whether the Caucasian majority or the racial minorities receive privilege. The paper concentrates on actual cases of affirmative action in admissions programmes to institutions of higher education.Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rasově orientovanou pozitivní diskriminací ve Spojených státech a především se snaží odpovědět na otázku, koho americká společnost privileguje. Práce se zaměřuje na skutečné případy pozitivní diskriminace v přijímacích řízeních vysokých škol.
