Transcript of a Meeting in the Insurance Industry

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá záznamem z jednání v oblasti pojišťovnictví. Její primární cíl spočívá ve zhodnocení efektivity záznamu z jednání ve smyslu plnění jeho základního cíle, kterým je ochrana zájmů zákazníka. První část práce se zabývá teoretickými východisky, obsaženými zejména v právních předpisech upravujících distribuci pojištění. Na tato východiska navazuje empirická část, která je zaměřena na praktický přístup tří hlavních skupin subjektů, kterých se pravidla distribuce pojištění týkají, tedy České národní banky, distributorů a zákazníků. Zabývá se konkrétně dohledem České národní banky nad distribucí pojištění a případnými udělovanými sankcemi, praktickou podobou záznamu z jednání u několika samostatných zprostředkovatelů pojištění a povědomím zájemců o pojištění o záznamu z jednání. V závěru je autorkou také navržena reakce na zjištěné nedostatky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the transcript of a meeting in the insurance sector. It primarily aims to assess the efficiency of the meeting transcript as it should especially protect the consumer. The first part deals with the theoretical background, contained mainly in the insurance distribution legislative. The following empirical part discusses the approach of the Czech National Bank, the distributors, and the customers, three main groups of subjects, that the legislative rules are intended to. It focuses on the Czech National Bank insurance distribution supervisory and its possible consequent sanctions, the structure of the meeting transcript in particular independent intermediaries practice and the awareness of the meeting transcript observed in a sample of the customers. There is an adequate reaction suggested at the end of the thesis.
