Předložená diplomová práce v úvodu pojednává o automobilovém průmyslu a jeho vývoji, v hlavní části je pak zaměřena na tlumení a bezpečnostní deformační zóny automobilu Škoda Octavia. Cílem práce je bližší seznámení s problematikou suspenzních soustav se zaměřením na jejich funkce a základní principy. The introduction of the thesis briefly deals with the car industry and its global development. The main part of Master thesis is focused on the impact damping and safety deformation zones of car Skoda Octavia. The aim of this thesis is to familiarize the readers with the issue of the suspension systems focusing on their functions and basic principles.
