Sandstone climbing

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce nese název "Pískovcové lezení``. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření uceleného přehledu o pískovcovém lezení jako samostatné horolezecké disciplíně. V úvodu seznamuje s dostupnou literaturou zabývající se horolezectvím a lezením na pískovcových skalách. V následujícím textu vysvětluje základní pojmy z daného oboru, Přináší stručný pohled do historie lezení na písku, dotýká se problémů klasifikační škály a současných trendů v lezení. Představuje základní lezecké techniky pohybu po pískovcových skalách a zároveň seznamuje s možnostmi zakládání postupového jištění. Součástí práce bylo vytvoření videosnímku.

Abstract:

Following bachelor thesis is titled ``Sandstone climbing{\crqq}. Thesis was focused on giving the general outline of climbing on sandstone presented as a separate rock climbing discipline. In the introduction it lists the available literature concerning mountaineering and climbing on sandstone rock. In the following text the thesis explains the general terminology of this subject, gives brief insight to the history of climbing on sandstone and deals also with the problem of climbing grades. Next part points out likewise the contemporary trends in rock climbing. The text further describes essential climbing techniques that are associated with the movement on sandstone rock and at the same time reports the possibilities of placement the camming devices. Together with the thesis the recorded video file is attached.
