Cílem bakalářské práce je interpretovat rituály smrti v alžbětinském dramatu v kontextu anglikánské církve. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na vyobrazení kulturně historického prostředí a života obyvatel raně novověké Anglie s ohledem na změny v církevní doktríně, načež jsou rovněž charakterizovány dobové pohřební rituály. The intention of the bachelor thesis is the interpretation of rituals of death in Elizabethan drama in the context of the Church of England.
