Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na autentické materiály a jejich použití při výuce anglického jazyka. Teoretická část definuje autentické materiály a zamýšlí se nad nimi mimo jiné z pohledu didaktických přístupů a metod, nebo možné hodnotě autentických materiálů ve vztahu ke vzdělávacím cílům a bere v úvahu státní vzdělávací školní osnovy a jejich cíle. Praktická část se zabývá způsoby, jak žákům pomoci překonat problémy, které se mohou objevit při práci s původním/autentickým jazykem. Jsou zde zhodnoceny výsledky tohoto výzkumu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on authentic materials and their application in the ELT classroom. Its theoretical part defines the term of authentic materials and looks at them for example from the view of the teaching approaches and methods, or their value in relation to objectives of ELT, in regard to contemporary national educational curriculum documents. The practical part concentrates on scaffolds helping students overcome the challenge of authentic language. The survey evaluation of the results is presented here.
