Transformation of selected industrial cities in the Ústecký region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Transformace vybraných industriálních měst v Ústeckém kraji"se zaměřuje na zhodnocení, v kterých oblastech došlo k největším kvalitativním změnám ve třech městech-Děčín, Chomutov a Teplice. Práce se zabývá teoretickými poznatky o transformaci českých měst. Součástí práce je také socioekonomická analýza, která vzájemně porovnává jednotlivá města mezi sebou a popisuje se zde základní charakteristika, historie měst, obyvatelstvo a trh práce. Poslední kapitolou je popsána urbánní transformace jednotlivých měst. V této kapitole jsou přiblížena jednotlivá města a popsány jednotlivé urbánní změny od roku 1989 do současnosti. Součástí kapitoly je také vývoj počtu obyvatel přilehlých obcí jednotlivých měst a poukázání na suburbanizační procesy. Výsledkem této diplomové práce by tedy mělo být zhodnocení transformace měst od roku 1989 do současnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis "Transformation of selected industrial cities in the Ústecký kraj"focuses on the evaluation in which areas the most qualitative changes occurred in the three cities- Děčín, Chomutov and Teplice. The thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge about the transformation of czech cities. Part of thesis is also a socio-economic analysis, which compares the cities to each other and describes their basic characteristics, history of cities, population and labour market. The last chapter describes the urban transformation of the individual cities. In this chapter, the individual cities and urban changes are described since 1989 to the present. Part of the chapter is also the development of the population of adjacent municipalities in the cities and the reference to suburbanization processes. The result of the thesis should be to evaluate the transformation of cities from 1989 to the present.
