Monitoring of CO2 Emissions in the International Logistic of Parts and Components of Škoda Auto, Co. Ltd.

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje představením problematiky zelené logistiky a zejména sledování vyprodukovaných emisí oxidu uhličitého při transportu dílů a komponentů z hlavního závodu společnosti ŠKODA AUTO v Mladé Boleslavi do montážního závodu v indickém Aurangabadu. V teorerické části je obecně popsána oblast logistiky, je kladen důraz na životní prostředí a je uvedeno, jak logistické procesy ovlivňují prostředí kolem nás. Dále je představena společnost ŠKODA AUTO, její historie, montážní závody, logistika s důrazem na CKD centrum, které se zabývá rozložitelností automobilů a přepravou do ostatních výrobních závodů. Ve speciální kapitole jsou přiblíženy aktivity Škoda Auto týkající se zelené logistiky firmy. V analytické části je na příkladu trasy z Mladé Boleslavi do Aurangabadu a analýzy produkovaných emisí při transferu rozložených vozů a komponentů z České republiky do Indie zhodnocen vliv logistiky a emisí CO2 na životní prostředí a je navrženo několik řešení, které by mohly pomoci k snížení dopadu na ně v procesu přepravy dílů.

Abstract:

The content of this diploma thesis is introduction of green logistics and mainly monitoring of the production of carbon dioxide emissions during transport of parts and components from ŠKODA AUTO main production plant in Mladá Boleslav to assembly plant in Aurangabad, India. In the first part, the field of general logistics is theoretically described, later the emphasis is placed on the environment and the impact of logistics processes on the environment is described. The second part introduces ŠKODA AUTO, its history, assembly plants, logistics with an emphasis on its CKD center, which deals with the desassembly of cars and transportation to other production plants. In a special chapter, its green logistics activities are described. In the practical part, the route from Mladá Boleslav to Aurangabad is analyzed. There is a calculation of produced emissions of carbon dioxide on the way from the Czech Republic to India and the results are compared with online calculator. In the last part several proposals are suggested to reduce the impact of trasportation of parts and components on the environment.
