Deliberative democracy: from Habermas to social networks
Abstract:
Deliberativní demokracie je od 90. let jedním z nejzkoumanějších modelů demokracie. Tato teoretická práce zkoumá, jak s ní autoři pracují v online prostředí. Od prvních teoretických tezí spojených se vznikem internetu se dostanu až k deliberativnímu potenciálu sociálních sítí.
Abstract:
Deliberative democracy has been one of the most explored models of democracy since the 1990s. This theoretical thesis investigates how the concept is exploited in the online environment. Starting at the first theoretical outlines related to the emergence of the internet, I will reach the deliberative potential of social networks.
