Analysis and development potential of tourism in the district Louny

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce je zanalyzovat cestovní ruch v okrese Louny. Zkoumat místní potenciál pro cestovní ruch a zjistit jeho možnosti pro následný rozvoj. Začátek práce je věnovaný popisu regionu z obecného a socioekonomického hlediska. Následuje představení přírodních, kulturně-historických a technických zajímavostí v největších městech a následně ve zbytku okresu. V následující kapitole jsou rozepsány zařízení pro kulturní a volnočasové vyžití. Dále v následující kapitole o turistické infrastruktuře je popsána síť značených tras pro volný čas a poznání a posléze i popis kde se nacházejí ubytovací a stravovací zařízení všeho druhu. V posledních kapitolách je popsán důležitý projekt pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu v okresu a SWOT analýza, která poukazuje na přednosti a nedostatky regionu a která místa mají potenciál k rozvoji cestovního ruchu a která jsou hrozbou pro samotný region. Velkým nedostatkem je prezentace pouze několik míst, převážně na téma chmel a pivo, který je určitě národním pokladem, ale není vším, co okres může nabídnout.

Abstract:

The aim of my work is to analyze tourism in the sector of Louny, to investigate local potential for tourism and to detect its options for its following development. The beginning of my work is dedicated to the description of the region from its general and social-economic perspective. The following is the introduction of natural, historical and technical sights in the biggest cities of the region and then in the rest of the region. The next chapter is a list of facilities for cultural and free-time activities. Following chapters are about the infrastructure of tourism, we can find the description of the network of natural paths for hiking or biking, as well as a list of locations of restaurants and accommodation of all sorts. In the last couple of chapters there is a description of an important project for tourism development in the sector and the SWOT analysis, which points out the advantages and disadvantages of the region, and which places have the potential for tourism development and which are a threat for the region itself. The presentation lacks only in several places, that only have one topic ? hops and beer, which is certainly the national treasure, but not everything the region can offer.
