Comparison of accounting knowledge of the graduates of grammar schools and business schools after passing the course Accountancy 1

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je za pomoci dotazníkového šetření zjistit a analyzovat znalosti a zejména pak rozdíly ve znalostech studentů VŠE kurzu 1FU211 Účetnictví 1 v rozdělení na absolventy gymnázií a obchodních akademií. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část je teoretická část a jsou zde uvedena některá zajímavá statistická data a informace týkající se systému školství v ČR. Dále je zde vymezen sylabus předmětu 1FU211 Účetnictví 1 na VŠE a osnovy předmětu účetnictví na obchodní akademii a také je tu uvedena struktura učebnic používaných při výuce účetnictví na VŠE a na obchodních akademiích. Praktická část je realizována za účelem dosažení cíle práce a je zaměřena na empirické šetření a následnou interpretaci výsledků. Výsledné hodnoty zjištěné od studentů VŠE porovnávám s hodnotami získanými od žáků čtvrtých ročníků OA Kollárova. Hodnoty získané od studentů VŠE hodnotím zvlášť v rozdělení na absolventy gymnázií a obchodních akademií a ty pak porovnávám. Pro větší názornost jsou v práci užity také tabulky a grafy. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty zjištěné výsledky.

Abstract:

The main goal of this master thesis is to find out and analyze knowledge and differences in knowledge of students of the subject 1FU211 Accountancy 1 divided to the graduates of grammar schools and business schools. The thesis is dividend into two parts. The theoretical part includes some of the interesting stats and information about czech school system. Then describes the syllabus of the subject 1FU211 Accountancy 1 at VŠE and the curriculum of accountancy at business school and also this part includes information about the textbooks, which are used in lessons of accountancy at VŠE and business schools. The practical part -- questionnaires -- is implemented to achieve the objectives of the thesis. The results of students VŠE are compared with the results of students of Business school Kollárova. The results of students VŠE are also interpreted separately divided into results of graduates of grammar schools and business schools. In addition, charts and graphs are used for better presentation of the findings. Finally, the summarized findings are interpreted.
