V této bakalářské práci s názvem Le clown dans le théâtre français se zabýváme historií této divadelní postavy, jejími maskami a kostýmy a významem v různých epochách divadla. V první kapitole jsme se věnovali různým divadelním hnutím, která ovlivnila vznik a formování klauna, blíže jsme se věnovali různým druhům klaunů jejich dělením do různých typických skupin, jejich kostýmům a úlohám.
