Evolution of Insurgency in Chechnya in Context of Hybridization of Non-State Violent Actors

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem severokavkazského hnutí odporu, jako kontinuálního aktéra čečenského hnutí odporu. Cílem práce je zejména odpověď na otázku jak se změnil charakter hnutí a to sice prostřednictvím optiky, kterou nabízí koncept hybridizace nestátních aktérů využívajících násilí, který je na tuto problematiku aplikovatelný zejména díky různé variaci typologických druhů nestátních aktérů. Proces hybridizace je následně rozfázován do jednotlivých vývojových etap hnutí a celkem pěti analytických dimenzí, struktury a vedení, ideologie a cílů, takticko – operačních projevů, členské základny a financování.

Abstract:

Master thesis is focused on issue of evolution and development of Northern Caucasus resistance movement, in certain continuity of former Chechen resistence movement. Main objective is the answer how has this violent non – state actor changed and this objective is fullfiled via the concept of hybridisation of violent non – state actors. This koncept could be used on this issue because of relativem wide variety of typologically different types of these actors. The process of hybridisation is dividend into five time periods equal to different phases of movement’s development and further divided and evaluated in five different analytical dimensions, focused on structure, ideology and organizational goals, tactical – operational capabilities, membership structure and principles and financing.
