Active balancer Li-Ion

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrh a konstrukci aktivního banalcéru Li-Ion baterií. Balancéry jsou součástí baterií, neboť mají příznivý účinek na jejich životnost. V první části práce jsou popsány druhy nevyvážeností článků a jejich důsledky. Dále jsou uvedena používaná zapojení balancéru, která slouží k potlačení nevyvážeností. Popsána jsou pasivní i aktivní zapojení, jejich principy, výhody a nevýhody. V třetí části je návrh aktivního balancéru, u kterého je kladen důraz na účinnost. Návrhová část se zabývá návrhem zapojení i řízením balancéru. Následně je popsán návrh algoritmu vyvažování, který má za cíl prodloužit dobu vybíjení akumulátorové sestavy. Algoritmus byl simulován v programu Matlab. Navržené zapojení bylo zkonstruováno a do MCU byl naprogramován zmíněný algoritmus. Účinnost navrženého balancéru přesahuje 80 %. Naměřené hodnoty vyvažovaní se shodují se simulovanými.

Abstract:

The master thesis presents design and construction of the active balancer for Li-Ion cells. Balancers are part of batteries because they have a positive effect on their life. The first part describes the types of the cell imbalances and their consequences. The following deals with the balancer circuits that are used to suppress imbalances. The passive and active circuits, their principles, advantages and disadvantages are also described. The third part is the design of the active balancer, where the emphasis is on the cell balancer efficiency. The design part deals with the hardware design, as well as the control of the balancer. Subsequently is described design of the balancing algorithm, which aims to extend discharge time of the battery. The designed balancer works with more than 80% efficiency which fully fulfils the assignment. The measured values of the balancing algorithm match the simulated ones.
