Government bonds and their evolution over the current financial crisis

Abstract:

Purpose of my Bachelor thesis is approaching the issue of government bonds and their importance in the management of public debt and also analyze the impact of a current financial crisis at these bonds. Government bonds are an important instrument in the financial market, are considered a conservative investment associated with almost zero risk and a reliable escape for investors at the time of instability in financial markets. Their importance in this regard was reflected in the still continuing financial crisis, which gradually grew into an economic crisis extending into each of our lives.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce je priblížiť problematiku štátnych dlhopisov a ich význam v riadení štátneho dlhu a zároveň analyzovať vplyv súčasnej finačnej krízy na tieto dlhopisy. Štátne dlhopisy sú významným nástrojom finančného trhu, sú považované za konzervatívnu investíciu spojenú s takmer nulovým rizikom a spoľahlivý únik pre investorov v čase nestability na finančných trhoch. Ich význam z tohto pohľadu sa prejavil aj počas stále trvajúcej finančnej krízy, ktorá postupne prerástla do hospodárskej krízy zasahujúcej do života každého z nás.
