Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá životem a dílem Jeana Jacquesa Rousseaua, Ernesta Thompsona Setona a Karla Maye. Vykresluje jejich představu a pojetí "ušlechtilého divocha" a představuje pedagogické ideály a cíle autorů. Dále popisuje život severoamerických Indiánů z pohledu historie i současnosti. Práce obsahuje též analýzu pojmů "ušlechtilý divoch", "přirozenost" a "příroda", které přímo souvisí s tématem diplomové práce. Cílem práce je najít odpověď na otázku, zda jsou pedagogické myšlenky a ideály uvedených osobností aktuální a přínosné i v dnešní době.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the lives works of Jean Jacques Rousseau, Ernest Thompson Seton, and Karl May. It depicts their idea and concept of the "noble savage" and presents educational ideals and objectives of the authors. It also describes the life of North American Indians from the perspective of the Past and present. The work also includes an analysis of the concepts of the "noble savage", "nature" and "nature", which is directly related to the topic of the thesis. The aim is to find an answer to the question whether the pedagogical ideas and ideals of those personalities current and useful even today.
