Economic evaluation of techniques for the remediation and revitalisation of grassland on concentrated flow paths

Abstract:

Hlavní řešenou problematikou této diplomové práce je komplexní ekonomické zhodnocení techniky pro sanaci erozních událostí, kterou lze provozovat formou služeb. V rámci práce je pojednáno o typech vodní eroze a jejich vlivech na zemědělskou půdu. V souvislosti s touto problematikou jsou analyzovány dostupné metody a techniky pro předcházení erozních událostí včetně souvisejících škod společně s nově vyvíjenou technikou, pomocí které lze již vzniklé škody sanovat. V rámci praktické části je vytvořena metodika pro stanovení provozních nákladů a konečné ceny pro službu této techniky. Jsou využity metody cenotvorby zaměřené na náklady, konkurenci a zákazníka. Na základě osmi proměnných hodnot jsou stanoveny provozní náklady stroje. Následně je stanovena cena za službu orientovaná na zisk, resp. na požadovanou rentabilitu. Současně je stanovena cena orientovaná na konkurenci. Cena orientovaná na zákazníka je pak stanovena pomocí Van Westendorpova testu cenové citlivosti. Následně provedené metody stanovení bodu zvratu a doby návratnosti investice potvrzují, že lze stanovenou cenu považovat za efektivní.

Abstract:

The main issue addressed in this thesis is a comprehensive economic evaluation of the technology for the remediation of erosion events, which can be operated in the form of services. The thesis discusses the types of water erosion and their effects on agricultural land. In relation to this issue, available methods and techniques for the prevention of erosion events, including the associated damage, are analysed together with newly developed techniques that can be used to remediate damage that has already occurred. As part of the practical part, a methodology for determining the operating costs and final price for the service of this technique is developed. Cost, competitor and customer focused pricing methods are used. Based on eight variable values, the operating cost of the machine is determined. Subsequently, a profit-oriented price for the service or the required profitability is determined. At the same time, a competitor-oriented price is determined. The customer-oriented price is then determined using the Van Westendorp price sensitivity test. Subsequently, the methods for determining the break-even point and the payback period confirm that the price set can be considered efficient.
