Diplomová práce popisuje jednu z významných událostí v životě člověka - uzavření manželství. V jednotlivých kapitolách práce je řešena zejména problematika nové právní úpravy rodinného práva, předpokladů pro vznik manželství, forem uzavření manželství, dokladů potřebných k uzavření manželství, podkladů pro zápis do matriky a správního řízení.
