Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na hudební kulturu města Moravské Budějovice v letech 1918-1938 a na kořeny jejího rozvoje. Práce je rozdělena na hlavní dvě části. První část se zabývá kořeny rozvoje hudební kultury, které začínají v 60. letech 19. století. Druhá část se zabývá hudební kulturou v nově uspořádaných poměrech v Československu.
