Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zahalováním muslimských žen v Evropě. Je představeno chápání závoje jakožto náboženského symbolu v judikatuře Evropského soudu pro lidská práva a taktéž některých národních soudů. Autorka představuje muslimský závoj z pohledu islámu a arabského světa. Práce se zaměřuje na zákazy a legislativní regulaci tohoto náboženského symbolu ve veřejném prostoru.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with veiling of the Muslim women in Europe. It introduces the interpretation of the veil as a religious symbol by the European Court of Human Rights as well as by some constitutional courts in Europe.
