Harmonization work and family life of women in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je teoreticky a následně prakticky popsat problematiku slaďování pracovního a rodinného života žen žijících v ČR. Předmětem zkoumání je zjistit, jak dotázané ženy slaďují pracovní a rodinné závazky, a následně navrhnout možná řešení efektivnější organizace volného času. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na témata související s problematikou, například postavení žen na trhu práce, rodiny, péči o děti a další aspekty, které tvoří jednotlivé kapitoly bakalářské práce. V praktické části autorka nejprve provede sekundární analýzu pomocí dat Českého statistického úřadu a následně určí výsledky vyplývající z analýzy. V další části se autorka věnuje dotazníkovému šetření na skupině žen žijících v ČR, jehož cílem je zjistit, jak ženy slaďují pracovní a rodinný život. Následně pomocí vyhodnocení dotazníků odpoví autorka na dílčí výzkumné otázky. Závěr bakalářské práce se věnuje návrhům na zlepšení situace žen.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to theoretically and then practically describe the issue of reconciling work and family life of women living in the Czech Republic. The subject of the research is to find out how the interviewed women reconcile work and family obligations and subsequently to suggest possible solutions for a more effective organization of leisure time. The theoretical part focuses on topics related to the issue, such as the position of women in the labor market, family, child care and other aspects that make up the individual chapters of the bachelor's thesis. In the practical part, the author first performs a secondary analysis using data from the Czech Statistical Office and then determines the results resulting from the analysis. In the next part, the author focuses on a questionnaire survey of a group of women living in the Czech Republic. The survey’s aim is to find out how women reconcile work and family life. Subsequently, by evaluating the questionnaires, the author answers partial research questions. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is devoted to suggestions for improving the situation of women.
