Cílem této práce je sestavit a analyzovat anglicko-český glosář termínů týkajících se dějiny české státní správy. Termíny jsou studovány z pohledu terminologie a překladové teorie. Pozornost je věnována těmto problémům: závislost významu termínů na kontextu, standardizace, velká a malá písmena, cizí termíny v anglických textech a ekvivalence. The aim of this thesis is to create and analyse an English-Czech glossary of terms related to the history of Czech state administration. Terms are studied from the point of view of translation theory and terminology. These issues are dealt with: context independence of terms, standardization, capitalization, foreign terms in English texts and equivalence.
