Social accesses of art and the reconstruction of the place's identity through memories

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce, je zaměřena na aktuální téma ve výtvarném umění, které se zabývá sociálními přístupy a pracuje s konkrétní skupinou. Tento projekt je realizován na vesnici, kde se účastní nejstarší obyvatelé. Konečná práce je posléze vystavena jako instalace hrnků, které jsem si vzala jako suvenýr od lidí, s nimiž jsem uskutečnila rozhovor na určitá témata. Snažila jsem se obyvatele přimět, aby vzpomínali na události, s nimiž souvisí určité principy a zvyky, které panují na vesnici a liší se dle úhlu pohledu každého jedince. Výpovědi jsou formulovány do zvukových stop a vzniká tak vtipná linie historek. Téma práce odkazuje k tradičnosti, zvyklostem a principům z venkovské lokality.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to present theme in fine arts that deals with the social approaches and operates with the exact group. This project is realized in the village where the oldest inhabitants participate. The final artwork is exhibited as the installation of cups which I took as souvenirs from the people with whom I made interviews on particular themes. I tried to make the inhabitants remember events from the past that are related to the principles and customs which prevail in the village and differ from the point of view of every individual. All enunciations are composed of audio tracks which make a witty line of narratives. The theme of this thesis refers to the traditions, customs, and principles from the rural locality.
