Analysis of the possibility of replacing soldering technology with laser welding technology of tube sheets made of Cu alloys

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vhodnosti technologie laserového svařování, jako efektivní náhrady původní technologie pájení pro spojování trubkovnic. Práce obsahuje tři hlavní části. Teoretická část obsahuje základní charakteristiku svařitelnosti mědi a jejich slitin, dále je zde stručně popsána technologie laserového svařování. V druhé části je uvedena analýza současného stavu, kde je stručně charakterizována původní technologie tvrdého pájení pro spojování trubkovnic, také je zde uvedena technologie laserového svařování jako náhrada pro zmíněnou aplikaci. Poslední část je věnována analýze svarových spojů z dodané trubkovnice. Analýza probíhá na vzorcích svarů v kolmých řezech spoje trubky s trubkovnicí. Na těchto svarech probíhalo měření definovaných parametrů dle normy ČSN EN ISO 15614-8, která slouží pro stanovení postupů pro svařování spojů trubek s trubkovnicí. Tyto naměřené parametry se následně porovnávaly s kritérii, která stanovuje zmíněná norma. Dílčím cílem je posouzení vlivu svařovacích parametrů, konkrétně svařovací rychlosti a výkonu zdroje na zmíněné parametry. Na základě výsledků této analýzy je následně posouzena vhodnost technologie laserového svařování jako náhrada původní technologie tvrdého pájení

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of suitability of laser welding technology as an effective replacement of the original soldering technology for joining tubes. The thesis contains three main parts. The theoretical part contains the basic characteristics of weldability of copper and their alloys, then the laser welding technology is briefly described. In the second part, an analysis of the current state of the art is presented, where the original brazing technology for joining tubes is briefly characterized, also the laser welding technology is presented as a replacement for the mentioned application. The last part is devoted to the analysis of the welded joints of the supplied tubing. The analysis is carried out on weld specimens in perpendicular sections of the tube-tube joint. On these welds, measurements of the defined parameters were carried out according to EN ISO 15614-8 standard, which is used to determine the procedures for welding joints of pipes with tubing. These measured parameters were then compared with the criteria set out in that standard. A sub-objective is to assess the influence of welding parameters, specifically welding speed and power source on the mentioned parameters. Based on the results of this analysis, the suitability of laser welding technology as a replacement for the original brazing technology is then assessed.
