Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Přispívatelé Lidových novin ze Žďárska v období První republiky nastiňuje podobu a mechanismus spolupráce regionálních autorů s deníkem Lidové noviny v meziválečném období. V úvodních kapitolách se autor věnuje popisu média, jakým byly Lidové noviny v době První republiky, s níž se pojí slavná éra těchto novin. Kromě připomenutí vývoje deníku, jež vyvrcholil v konstrukci váženého a seriózního listu, přibližuje autor profesi redaktora v tehdejší společnosti, potažmo v Lidových novinách. Postavení řádného redaktora posléze konfrontuje s pozicí přispívatele. V souvislosti se žďárským regionem, jehož tehdejší charakteristiku postihuje v jedné z kapitol, a to včetně vazeb, jež pojily tuto oblast s Lidovými novinami, zmiňuje tři jména spolupracovníků – Jaroslava Svitavského z Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, Jana Karníka z Nového Města na Moravě a Bohumila Malinu Ptáčka z Velkého Meziříčí. Tito autoři se narodili na Českomoravské vrchovině. Svůj život zde také prožili s výjimkou několika období strávených z profesních důvodů mimo tento region. Jejich příspěvky na stránkách prestižního deníku reflektovaly životní zkušenosti a poznání. Představení dotyčné trojice přispívatelů se autor věnuje v jedné z dílčích kapitol. V závěru srovnává, jaké bylo jejich postavení s ohledem na rozličné tvůrčí zaměření v rámci jejich novinářské práce v Lidových novinách.

Abstract:

The thesis “External contributors to the newspaper ´Lidové noviny´ from the region of Žďár nad Sázavou during the First republic” should communicate the way regional writers worked together with the newspaper “Lidové noviny” in the period between the wars. In the first chapters, the author analyses the newspaper itself. He looks at its development, focusing on the era of the First republic during which the newspaper experienced its greatest grow and widespread reputation. He examines status of a journalist in the society at that time and compares then the position of a full-time journalist with the one of a freelance journalist. In one of the chapters the author deals with the region of Žďár nad Sázavou. He describes its characteristics, including its close relationship with the newspaper “Lidové noviny”. He refers to three names: Jaroslav Svitavský from Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, Jan Karník from Nové Město na Moravě, and Bohumil Malina Ptáček from Velké Meziříčí. Those writers were born in Českomoravská vrchovina (Czech-Moravian Highlands) and they spent almost their entire life there. Their articles reflect their knowledge and experience connected to the region. The author describes their work in one of the chapters of the thesis, he compares their different professional rank depending on their various journalistic work in the newspaper “Lidové noviny”.
