A view of field social work through the lens of lodging house residents.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bude zjistit, jak vnímají obyvatelé ubytoven městské části Ostrava-Jih, terénní sociální práci a práci terénního sociálního pracovníka. Výzkum bakalářské práce bude proveden díky kvalitativnímu výzkumu, formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, analýzou dat a následně jejich interpretací. Teoretická část bude pojednávat o sociálním vyloučení, bezdomovectví, dostupnosti bydlení a bytové politice. Dále také vymezí pojem terénní sociální práce a terénní sociální práce s osobami žijícími na ubytovnách. U terénní sociální práce budou také vymezeny její cílové skupiny, metody a formy. Ve výzkumné části bude uveden cíl výzkumu a výzkumný problém. Dále bude popisovat metodologii výzkumu. Bude také popisovat výzkumný vzorek a to, jak byl výzkumný vzorek vybrán, a nakonec popíše celkový průběh rozhovorů na který naváže analýza a interpretace dat získaných z výzkumu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis will be to find out how the residents of lodging houses in the Ostrava-Jih district perceive field social work and the work of a field social worker. The research of the bachelor's thesis will be carried out thanks to qualitative research, in the form of semi-structured interviews, data analysis and subsequently their interpretation. The theoretical part will discuss social exclusion, homelessness, housing availability and housing policy. It also defines the concept of field social work and field social work with people living in lodging houses. For field social work, its target groups, methods and forms will also be defined. In the research part, the aim of the research and the research problem will be stated. It will also describe the research methodology. It will also describe the research sample and how the research sample was selected and finally describe the overall course of the interviews, which will be followed by the analysis and interpretation of the data obtained from the research.
